Getting here
Stoke Poges Village Centre is situated close to the centre of the village at the junction of Bells Hill (B416) and Rogers Lane, about three miles north of Slough and the same distance from Gerrards Cross.
Parking
We have a car park at the rear of the building with space for around 40 cars, including two accessible spaces. The entrance to the car park is on Rogers Lane. You’ll also find an accessible parking space at the front entrance for step-free access to the Main Hall. Additional spaces are available at the front of the building and in a small public car park further along Rogers Lane.
Accessibility
The building is on three levels: the lower ground floor, the upper ground floor, and the first floor. The location of each room within the building is as follows:
- Lower ground floor: Main Hall, Ned Hartley Room (lower bar), Kitchen, Harding Room
- Upper ground floor: Club Room, Lionel Rigby Room
- First floor: Colin Hurt Room, Debbie Towart Room
- Ramps are provided at each external entrance (to the lower ground floor and upper ground floor)
- The Colin Hurt Room and the Debbie Towart Room on the first floor are accessed by stairs only.
- Internally, the lower ground floor and upper ground floor are connected by stairs only.
- Accessible toilets are situated adjacent to the Club Room (upper ground floor) and Harding Room (lower ground floor).
- Two accessible spaces are reserved for Blue Badge holders in the car park at the rear of the building for access to the Club Room and Lionel Rigby Room.
- One accessible space is reserved for Blue Badge holders at the front of the building, for access to the Main Hall.
- There is a noticable slope in the main car park falling from the back of the car park towards the building.
- There is a hearing loop in the Main Hall.
