The main hall has a polished maple strip floor, ideal for dancing and marked out for badminton. The hall is also fitted with wall bars for ballet use.
If required, a licenced bar can be provided in the adjoining Ned Hartley Room.
The maximum permitted capacity of the Main Hall varies from 80 to 200 people, depending on the type of event and layout of tables and chairs. These figures include helpers and performers.
The stage curtains are locked in the closed position. The stage is bookable for performances only, and is not included in standard bookings of the Main Hall.
Please note that there is a height restriction / size limitation for bouncy castles. Hirers are reminded to check their requirements before booking.
Please also note that we do not have a sound system.
When making a booking for multiple adjacent spaces at the same time (e.g. Hall, Kitchen, Ned Hartley Room) all spaces must be booked for the same duration.
Furniture and equipment
- 12 large folding tables size 1.8m x 0.75m
- 120 folding padded chairs on storage trolleys for ease of movement
- There is a projection screen on the back wall of the hall
Stage
The use of the stage is strictly for performances only, subject to additional cost, and must be agreed at the time of booking. Further terms and conditions will apply.
The curtained stage has basic lighting and electrical outlets for everyday use. A sectional apron and steps are available, at an additional hire cost.
