Stoke Poges Players is a small amateur dramatic group founded in 1963. We meet every Monday and welcome members of all ages (currently from around 15 to 70+) of all levels of experience.

The Players have two productions each year one in May and the other, usually a pantomime, at the beginning of December.

You don’t need experience to join us just be willing to give it a try, whether that is on or off stage. We always need help off stage to put on a production so if you are a bit nervous take a backstage job until you are ready to give the stage a try.

We think of ourselves as one big family having regular fun but this also continues outside of rehearsals with other activities like theatre trips and quizzes.

Annual membership is £50 for adults and £40 for under‑18s, with no subs required until new members decide they’d like to stay or participate in an event.
